What are the symptoms of diabetes?

Sometimes pre-diabetes is only picked up when a person gets a blood test done, often for a different matter. This can be a shock for many people so here is a list of symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes, so you know what to look out for:

  • Excessive thirst, especially at night
  • Frequently peeing
  • Blurred vision
  • Repeatedly getting thrush or itching around the penis or vagina
  • Losing weight without trying to
  • Cuts or wounds taking longer to heal
