We would like to share some important changes taking place here at Cranbrook Medical Practice.
Firstly, after almost 6 months of advertising, we are excited to share some New Salaried GP news with you very soon! Further information will be shared in the next few weeks.
Secondly, from Wednesday 2nd October, our telephone lines will divert to the Practice Plus Group Team daily between the hours of 12:30pm-2pm. The practice will remain open during this time however, it will allow our administration team to focus on carrying out important tasks such as processing referrals and incoming documents. Patients are still able to attend the practice during this time or if you have a non-urgent administration query, this can be done via our website.
And lastly, the demand on our services is ever growing and we now have more than 5500 patients registered with the practice. We recognise this increasing demand and have been proactively looking at ways to improve patient access. We have therefore voluntary signed up to the National General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP) and patients will start to notice changes over the next 6 months. The purpose of GPIP is to improve appointment booking and equity of access to all, no matter how you contact us, ensuring that patients receive safe care based on clinical need. Based on the success of other practices that have implemented GPIP, we are confident that these changes will greatly improve patient experience.
