We are currently experiencing a high number of occurrences of patients not answering the phone for their booked telephone appointments. We would like to inform patients that although we are not able to invite as many of you into surgery as normal at the moment, we still schedule appointments in the normal way and therefore set that time aside for you.
We advise that you keep your phone with you 15 minutes either side of your appointment time in case the clinician is running ahead or behind. When calling for a booked appointment our clinician will call you three times. If all three attempts are unanswered your appointment will be recorded as unattended and the clinician will move on to their next patient.
If you miss your telephone appointment please be aware that you will have to rebook it, as our clinicians get extremely booked up and therefore are unable to call you back outside of the time scheduled for your appointment.
