The Cranbrook team reminds patients of our ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy

Red phone
Please can we remind all our patients that every member of our team is working really hard to provide the care that all of our patients require at this difficult time. Whilst the vast majority of our patients are incredibly cooperative and understanding we would like to remind all patients that we have a ‘Zero Tolerance’ attitude regarding abusive behaviour towards our staff.

“Everyone has a duty to behave in an acceptable and appropriate manner when receiving treatment or care from NHS staff in our Practice. If any person is abusive or violent towards any member of staff or any other persons on our premises, the Practice retains the right to take zero tolerance action. This includes on the phone.

Zero tolerance action taken may be taken against a person using Practice services, relative, carer or member of the public which involves criminal justice agencies such as the police or courts where there has been an offence of physical or non-physical assault towards a member of staff.”

We thank you for your understanding, patience and cooperation at this time.
