Job advert: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract for a GP Practice Administrator

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual within our Administration and Receptionist team, to support summarising and medical records management within our GP practice. The successful candidate would benefit from having experience in dealing with medical records within a healthcare setting. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure our patients receive the very best experience and support to meet their health needs.

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and motivated to support our patients, and who also has the ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a high level of competence in the use of IT. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of health professionals.

The role includes dealing with all aspects of medical records and clinical documentation, medical note summarising, medical report processing and supporting the clinical documentation workflow process.

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months and is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days. The rate of pay is £10.40 per hour.
